A rising star in the fashion scene known as ALICE, Io makes a name for himself as an up-and-coming fashion designer. Based in New York, yet travels around the world to expand his horizons, he achieves feats in fashion that are bold and contemporary, ranging from artistic to casual everyday wear in styles of all kinds. His adaptability, imagination and precision knows no bounds. Unapologetically himself, his blunt honesty is a testament to the confidence, skills and depth of knowledge he has cultivated over the years.Io is not part of any agency and doesn't plan to exclusively work under one either. Working as a freelance fashion designer, he takes up any job that piques his interest, regardless of the status or monetary gain, all the while showcasing his own fashion lines in runways across the globe.

Appearance
Io has medium length, wavy maroon hair cut into a wolf cut with a few white strands and green eyes. He's a tall young man with freckles dotting his face and across his body, yet most prominently on his cheeks and hands. He also has vitiligo, creating discoloured patches of skin all over his body. Io tends to wear different clothing styles depending on his mood but, more often than not, he would wear an outfit consisting of a light brown turtleneck underneath a dark brown plaid dress shirt that's tucked into a pair of dark brown dress pants. He wears a black leather belt with a gold buckle along with black socks and dark brown dress shoes. He's often seen wearing a black beret as well.
His outfits are comfortable enough to wear as casual everyday clothes, but also remain in the realm of smart casual; enough for him to be able to attend any impromptu events or meetings on the go.
Personality
Io may initially come off as either unapproachable, intimidating and stern, his demeanor often mistaken to be judgemental and critical, or as a diva; jovial and confident with an unwavering sense of vanity. Unafraid to voice out his true thoughts without any sort of filter, whether it's positive or negative, he isn't afraid to be brutally honest. Yet, he isn't afraid to stand up for others either, often becoming their voices rather than allowing them to struggle in silence. However, he's a hypocrite when it comes to himself and his own struggles as Io opts to deal with them by himself and in silence rather than bothering others for assistance, even when others may be willing to help.
Despite his initial dramatic demeanors, Io is actually playful by heart. He loves to tease, joke and mess with people, purposefully exaggerating his actions or attitude for fun. Yet, he's also humble, contrasting the initial egotistical image some may have of him, as he takes accountability when necessary and actively improves himself. Io is surprisingly friendly, treating everyone as an equal regardless of their own background compared to him.
He also has a knack for reading people well. From body language to "reading between the lines", he's capable of deciphering if someone has ulterior motives or not to an accurate degree and would act accordingly as a result; sometimes becoming passive-aggressive towards said bad apples.
Io is confident and unapologetically himself. He doesn't care how people perceives him and he refuses to change who he is just to fit into a mold. He knows his worth, strengths and weaknesses and he's willing to grow and improve for his own sake rather than to please others.

Etymology
Io's first name is derived from Jupiter's moon with the same name. His surname is derived from 3 different characters; The first character (真) meaning “true”, the second (俐) meaning “clever” and the last (子) meaning “child”.
Trivia
· His signature consists of his first name, rendered in cursive roman letters, alongside a tail that stretched after the "o" and two vertical lines that crosses through the cursive "I", mimicking a thread and needles. A crown shape is present in front of the main body, reflecting an "m" shape while the cursive part of the "I" and lined swoosh creates the illusion of the letter "A".
· Io's name comes from the Fanloid, IO which is the genderswap derivative of the VOCALOID, IA.
· He's more well known with his nickname "ALICE" instead of his real name. ALICE was conjured up after the success of his one of his fashion shows after graduating university. The show in question had an "Alice in Wonderland" vibe; hence the nickname's origins. This nickname is so well known that his real name became a rare sight within the industry.
· He has a resting bitch face and speaks in a manner that some may deem as "vulgar", often using swear words while talking. In a professional setting, he swears less but some words may still slip out due to habit.
· Io is lactose intolerant but his symptoms aren't too severe. He still consumes certain kinds of dairy products because "it's too delicious to give up." The main ones being milk with his iced coffee and some cheeses.
· He gets fatigued quite easily and can fall asleep almost immediately because of this. The layering of clothes is also due to how he gets cold easily as well. These, and more, are due to an autoimmune condition he has.
· His birthday falls on the day of Walpurgis Nacht, an eve of celebration that blends pagan spring traditions and Christian legends. The festivities include bonfire, dancing, and celebrations welcoming the arrival of spring. It is also is often associated with witches gathering.

Early Years
Io was born in Berlin, Germany where his family lived for three years before moving to Ireland due to his father's job requiring him to scout for potential European talents within the country. Io spent the next four years there where he attended elementary school. Ever since he was a baby, until he was a child, Io always had white patches of skin that weren't obviously vitiligo at first. Most of the patches were small, often easily mistaken as marks due to the sun, or lack thereof yet, during his developmental years, the patches became more prominent. They continued to spread across his body until he was eventually diagnosed with vitiligo.
At some point, they had to move once again, this time to the Netherlands due to his father's job once more. Initially, his vitiligo didn't seem to affect him as nobody would bat an eye about it. His classmates even thought it was cool and would often imagine various images within the shapes the patches created. However, as the years continued on, and his marks kept on spreading and became more prominent, this perception started to change.
During his middle school years, he started to get bullied for his vitiligo. He was often mocked and was called names, going from a cheerful, playful child to a quiet loner as he began wearing long sleeved jackets over his uniform as a result of the constant ridicule. The interest he had in activities and sports he once loved started to simmer out due to the social aspect of it all. He wanted to have friends but, those who do talk to him, primarily did out of pity. This pattern continued on for a few more years until he turned 15 years old. During 10th grade, he met a small group of peers who treated him kindly, not caring about his appearance in the slightest, as Io finally began to open up once more. He was still hesitant but he was making progress.
These group of kids were the "artistic" bunch, ranging from theatre to music to art. Io found himself fascinated by the various mediums of expression before one of his friends urged him to sign up for an after school embroidery class. Initially, Io refused but, after a lot of coaxing by his friends, he eventually gave in. The skills he learned in that class transferred back home where he began to embroider more patterns before eventually moving onto sewing and tailoring clothes of his own. He used fashion as a way to express himself, just like how his friends used their own interest in various other mediums to express themselves too. By the time he was a senior, he developed many skills in sewing, knitting and crocheting. He would make accessories for his close circle of friends and even his family. Io finally found his passion.
Upon graduating highschool, Io got into a prestigious fashion program in one of the top fashion design schools in the world yet, as it was located in New York, he moved to America on his own to continue his studies. Initially, he braced himself for another onslaught of bullying and harassment but instead, he was met with a welcoming community who didn't treat him differently. He thrived in that environment, finally shedding away any hesitancy and embracing himself completely. He stopped hating himself due to his appearance and condition and began to embrace it as a part of who he is. He became more bold and expressive with the clothes he created, allowing him to make a name for himself upon graduation.
Various fashion series following his graduation took inspiration from his vitiligo, remembering the innocent days in elementary school when he and his classmates would try to imagine things out of his marks. Io's series was artistic and imaginative in nature, giving his show an "Alice in Wonderland" vibes. It was such a success that the media, and industry as a whole, gave him the nickname "ALICE." Since then, this nickname became more synonymous with him than his actual name.

Io officially relocated to New York where he continued working as a fashion designer. Despite being based in America, he would often travel across the globe for shows and jobs yet, he would still find time in his schedule to fly back to Japan to visit family whenever he could in between.
He would often assist his sister when it came to outfit or costume designs whenever she was in a pinch, unknowingly creating outfits for some idols as a result. In return, she would help him with music and sound design for his various fashion shows. His sister was also the one who gave Io a heads up about the models in Yumenosaki, allowing him to keep them in the back of his mind for potential future job opportunities.
Enstars!! Year 1
Io was hired by a production company to design costumes for their upcoming movie "Noir Neige." Due to his schedule being filled at the time, he was unable to participate in person; however, they agreed upon an arrangement where Io would create the outfits in his studio before shipping them back to Japan for the movie. Due to his contributions to the movie, he was formally invited to the New York film festival where he surprisingly ran into his sister during the banquet. The siblings began catching up before his sister eventually introduced him to her friends.
Io immediately took note of their reactions, as it was obvious that some only knew him as ALICE, before asking his sister if she ever clarified that they were, in fact, siblings. The producer in question was confused as a result, claiming she always talked about "her brother" which made Io realize that she never actually connected his identity as "ALICE" and "her brother." As a result, he properly introduced himself to the group before teasing his sister about the situation.

STARMAKER PRODUCTION

Makoto Yuuki
Both Io and Makoto share a level of mutual respect for each other. Makoto was initially intimidated by Io due to his status as a well known designer and would treat him like a senior of sorts; however, Io immediately that shut down, clarifying that he views everyone as an equal and also didn't want to be perceived as a senior by jokingly claiming that he doesn't want to "feel old." Since then, they maintained a positive, friendly relationship between each other.
Io consistently proves that he's open to assisting Makoto when it comes to the fashion scene, recognizing that Makoto has some form of negative experience due to the way he talks about the industry, so Io never pushed him. He just kept the option available and would happily give Makoto guidance if he desired it.
Aira Shiratori
Io found Aira's passion and excitement to be endearing and would often go to Aira whenever he has any questions pertaining to the idol world. He would happily listen to Aira ramble, genuinely listening and absorbing all the information given to him as he wouldn't interrupt the other, with the exception of any questions he may have. Io would even assist in Aira's merch collecting escapades on the rare occasions of region-locked idol merch dropping whenever Io traveled. He would even sometimes send Aira information about new debuts that he came across online.
Despite the casual and sibling-like relationship they share, Aira still gets somewhat nervous when interacting with Io one-on-one, particularly because of his status and also because of Io's naturally intimidating aura sometimes. Yet, despite all that, he finds opening up to Io a lot less nerve wracking compared to interacting with various other ES idols.

NEW DIMENSION

Tsukasa Suou
Io views Tsukasa as a respectful, polite young man when they first interacted with each other, which was primarily for jobs such as outfit designs for lives or promotions. Yet, as time went on and he ended up meeting Tsukasa in person, he grew fond of him and began to view him like a younger brother of sorts which evoked Io's more teasing and playful side. Despite the way Io would purposefully tease him sometimes, they maintained a friendly relationship, primarily bonding over board and card games. Though, their games would always end up becoming super competitive, to the point where onlookers that come across them may assume that they're mortal enemies despite that not being the case at all.
In turn, Tsukasa holds Io to a high level of respect but still maintains a level of politeness and poise when interacting with him. Due to them sharing the same spoken languages, Tsukasa wouldn't correct his pronunciation around Io yet, this habit unlocked Io's own childhood habit of doing something similar as he would end up speaking certain words in English without a second thought when talking to Tsukasa as well.
Leo Tsukinaga
Io was, surprisingly, a fan of Leo's music before he even met him, finding his songs online and listening to them as a casual fan. Because of this, Io's demeanor when they actually met for the first time was much more open and casual and, combined with Leo's initial cheerful and eccentric personality, it wasn't long before the two clicked and formed a friendly bond between each other. They both retain a certain level of chaotic energy, with Leo being the more expressive one while Io is the subtle one within the pair. However, due to Leo's loud and expressive personality, Io enjoys teasing him whenever he got the chance, often using various nicknames just to get a rise out of him.
Their relationship could be described as brothers but, in reality, the two of them are more in-common with the fact that they both have a younger sister as Io would often end up listening to Leo's rambles about his sister. However, Io understood Leo at that level, clearly identifying how much he loves, cherishes and is proud of his little sister as he feels the same way towards his own as well.
Izumi Sena
Io's initial perception of Izumi was of his sister's description, primarily his "motherly" demeanor with the way he would nag and fuss about self-care. Yet, he was also made aware of just how hard-working and brutally honest Izumi is and respects him highly because of that, due to sharing a similar mindset.
The moment he officially met Izumi, Io wasn't surprised that the model recognized him as ALICE, jokingly "blaming" his sister for not connecting the two with each other sooner. Yet, during their first interaction, they acted cordial and respectful to each other but, Io immediately broke any sort of tension by asking him if he was open for potential modeling gigs, much to Izumi's surprise.
Izumi respects Io highly as a fashion designer and was taken aback by Io's initial demeanor, expecting him to be egotistical and haughty due to the rumors that circulated but, Io proved him wrong with his warm and friendly personality. It took a while for Izumi to link the perception he had of his producer's "older brother" to the fashion designer "ALICE" as, in his eyes at the time, they were two separate entities. Yet, after getting the chance to work with each other a few times, Izumi's internal admiration and their mutual respect manifested into a budding friendly yet familial kind of relationship due to Io treating him somewhat like a brother-in-law. He began to include Izumi in various jokes and teases, much to Izumi's dismay and annoyance. No matter how hard he tried to retaliate, Io remained unbothered and would only up the antics for fun.
Ritsu Sakuma
Io initially kept a respectful distance from Ritsu, primarily due to his lack of energy but, the moment he learnt about Ritsu's more playful personality, it was as if any kind of barrier between them broke. Ritsu and Io are a pair that loves to tease and rile others up just to see how they would react. They share a similar playful demeanor which would, more often than not, result in a lot of banter. Io is surprisingly very receptive to Ritsu's blunt honesty and observations, no matter how harsh they may be and, in return, Io would thank and praise him for such honesty.
Io may not say it out loud but he worries for Ritsu at times whenever his fatigue becomes too much. As Io suffers from a chronic illness of his own, he's very understanding of the various struggles that comes with such illnesses and would try to make accommodations for Ritsu whenever he could.
Arashi Narukami
Io and Arashi are a duo that gets along well with each other. In the beginning, their relationship was one of mutual respect as Arashi's initial perception of Io was one of a highly skilled and, somewhat, prideful fashion designer. As a model, she held him in high regard and was already a fan of his works. In turn, Io was impressed by her prowess as a model and happily added her to his mental roster of models to scout for his own fashion lines.
As time went on, they still maintained a level of respect for one another but were much more friendly, retaining a sibling-like bond. Despite Arashi's fierceness to protect those she cares about, Io shares the same sentiment towards her, claiming that she deserves to be looked after too as Io views her as his younger sister and would often support her whenever he could. He finds her skills as an idol and model to be remarkable and would constantly cheer her on.

Elira Mariko
Io and Elira's relationship in the beginning was very strained. As a kid, he held a deep level of jealousy that she didn't suffer the same medical conditions as him. For a young child such as himself at the time, this jealousy manifested into Io lashing out at Elira, treating her with a level of frustration that an angry child would possess despite being her older brother. He would constantly nitpick whatever she did or said, raising his voice just to one-up her.
As the years went by, Io went from lashing out at Elira to becoming stand-offish instead, opting to keep to himself as the two barely had any connection, or so it seemed. Through all this, Elira clung onto her older brother and saw him as a role model. In the beginning, it was natural for her to get scared whenever he lashed out but learnt quite quickly that this only happened whenever she mentioned his marks. As long as she never brought it up, they had a somewhat neutral relationship.
Yet, as a child, Elira didn't seem to have a filter whenever she watched her brother do something, causing her to shower him with innocently pure praises, especially when he picked up embroidery and sewing. As Io grew older, he realized his mistakes and sincerely apologized to Elira, to which she merely laughed it off, claiming that he was completely justified as she was quite a clingy and rambly child; so it would've been normal for him to grow frustrated at times. Since then, their relationship grew closer as Io would even use her as a living mannequin when creating clothes, to which Elira found to be quite fun. Yet, when Io moved out to study in university, they kept in touch through regular calls or playing video games together.
When Elira began to be bullied in her school, Io became immediately protective over her, due to experiencing a similar case in his own past. He provided support and words of encouragement through it all, even arguing to have her be homeschooled for the sake of her mental health which eventually happened. During her slump, Io was by her side through it all, coaxing her to try and find some hobbies and passions to get her mind off the idea of studies. Due to his gentle guidance, she eventually found her love for songwriting and music.
Since then, Elira continued to support his fashion endeavours while Io supported her through her music journey, always cheering her on to help rebuild her self-confidence.

Overview
Io has a younger sister, Elira Mariko, who he's protective over due to a situation she experienced that left her broken and a shell of who she once was. He supported her to the best of his abilities during her slump and was the one who coaxed her into trying different things to find a hobby, eventually leading her to find her passion in music.
They're both very close, as they would often hang out together during their free time or help each other out with their own personal projects. Elira would often go to Io to talk about her feelings and problems and he would give her advice and guidance when necessary.
Io also gets along well with his parents. Despite growing to become an independent individual, he would still try to find time to visit and catch up with them. His parents are very supportive and are proud that his efforts are being rewarded yet, they are aware that Io prefers to stay silent whenever he has a problem, causing them to pry and coax it out of him. Io sometimes finds this to be annoying but, once the situation in question quells down, he would immediately realize the extent of their intentions and would thank them for their support and advice.

Parents
Io's mother is German whilst his father is Japanese. In the past, Io's mother used to work at a law firm in Berlin as a criminal lawyer while the entertainment company in which his father works in is an international company with branches across the globe.
They first met when his father was stationed in his company's Berlin branch and they were dealing with a case where one of their employees committed embezzlement, his mother was hired to assist in the case. Their initial interactions were cordial and professional and this continued until the case was finally settled. However, as his father was still new to the country at the time, he ended up getting lost within the city during the weekend where he coincidentally ran into his mother weeks after the case was closed. Noticing his struggle, his mother offered to take him around the city for a tour. The more they talked, the more they began to click, learning more about each other and causing their relationship to go from professional to friendly to eventually romantic. However, they knew how to separate their professional and private lives. They were so successful at it that most coworkers on both sides didn't even know they were seeing someone, and those who had suspicions chalked it up to mere rumors.
After they got married, they remained in Germany for a year where they had Io but, when Io was three, they had to relocate to another branch of his father's company in Ireland for four years before they moved to the Netherlands and, after two more years, that was when they had Elira. They temporarily had to move several times due to the demand of his father's work for the next few years before moving to Japan due to the idol industry's sudden boom.
His parents speak different languages however, the common language they shared when they first met was English. Hence, at home, the family speaks both English and Japanese, due to now living in Japan. His mother never taught them German due to her busy schedule and the fact that she was often overseas for her more high profile cases but she did end up learning Japanese alongside her children as part of a "family bonding" activity with their father.
Mother
Io's mom works as a criminal lawyer for an international law firm and she has the credentials to take on international cases in certain countries. However, certain cases require her to fly to said countries in order to handle in person. The nature of her job causes her to be in the office for long shifts or even travel for weeks, or months, at a time depending on the severity of the cases she handles.
Appearance:
She has long, red hair that she usually puts up in a loose ponytail, and gold eyes. When working, she wears a formal attire suited for her company while, on the weekends, she wears casual blouses paired with jeans, long skirts or dresses.
Trivia:
· She's secretly a huge video game nerd and mainly plays games such as the Souls series, FPS', fighting games etc. During family game nights she tends to get competitive especially if they're playing competitive multiplayer.
· When it comes to music genres, she leans towards electronic, rock, metal, or any sort of symphonic rock. She even listens to screamo sometimes.
· She speaks German natively and English fluently. However, when stressed, angry, etc, or when she's thinking/talking to herself, she would default to German. She speaks Japanese in a very formal manner regardless of who she's speaking to which often causes her to seem more intimidating than she actually is but, she struggles with writing and reading.
Father
Io's dad works as a hiring manager for an entertainment company. Yet, he tends to work in a hybrid setting, sometimes working from home while other times he goes to the office.
Appearance:
He has short, wavy white hair and green eyes. When working, he wears a formal attire fit for executive meetings and interviews but, on the weekends, he would be much more casual. Often wearing casual collared shirts and jeans.
Trivia:
· He sometimes hides various small trinkets throughout the house as a sort of "side-quest" for anyone who finds the "quest note" first. He always gives that person a prize, usually in the form of free food or a small gift voucher, if they complete the quest.
· He's a major movie geek and has a massive collection of movies that filled up the spare bedroom of their house.
· He speaks Japanese natively and English fluently and was the one who taught Io and Elira Japanese when they were kids. Yet, when he speaks, he would often mix both languages seamlessly, causing Io and Elira to do the same when they were younger. Unlike his children, he can speak Dutch but only at a conversational level.
Elira (Younger Sister)
Elira is Io's younger sister, working in Japan as the producer of NEW DIMENSION's Knights. She's also a popular music creator online under the anonymous alias "Erios." Io would often plan his vacations in accordance to Elira's school breaks in order to visit and catch up with the family. Io and Elira would often chat and/or video call with one another to update each other about their lives.
Appearance:
Elira has shoulder-length messy peach hair, as if she constantly has bed hair, and gold eyes. She also has freckles on her cheeks and stands at an average height with a fair complexion. She's seen to always wear some sort of headband and, in her casual attire, it would mainly be green with a matching coloured vest and a light brown dress-shirt underneath. Elira also wears a light brown bow and a dark brown, high-waisted short skirt that reaches to half of her thighs. She also wears matching thigh-high socks and light brown doll shoes.
Trivia:
· Io was the one who made Elira's casual clothes.
· Io is Elira's go-to designer if she needs costumes/outfits to be made. In return, Elira is his go-to musician if he needs songs for a fashion show/event.
· Io is 9 years older than Elira.
